1/29: Truck blocking Elm Place while making Starbucks milk delivery, 12:19 a.m. Vehicle moo-ved without incident.

 

1/29: Suez Water backhoe stopped past line at stop sign, 2:06 a.m., BPR/Sonn Drive. Just finished New Street job. Warning issued.

 

1/29: Complainant reported dead racoon along north wall Rye Town Park by Rye Beach/Forest avenues. DPW notified to remove.

 

1/29: Transport of prisoner back to County, 11:49 a.m.

 

1/28: Bagmen. Suspicious Honda minivan, occupied by two males, Allendale Drive, 1:13 a.m. They were dropping off luggage from airport, papers in order for local family.

 

1/28: Smoke reported in Ivy Street house, 5:45 p.m.

 

1/28: Large animal reported caught in roadwork, BPR/Playland Parkway. Deer removed from roadway.

 

1/27: Early dismissal. Suspicious vehicle, Grandview Avenue, 12:43 a.m. Parked by admissions building, occupied by male, female. Parties check, school employee.

 

1/27: Snow ordinance violations. Locust/Central/Orchard/Theodore Fremd avenues, many other locations. Summonses issued.

 

1/27: That was a Buick. Callers reported elderly driver operating Buick on wrong side of Playland Parkway near Milton Road. GOA.

 

1/27: Guion Road caller reported hearing sound of gunshots. Lived near water, thought it might be duck hunters. Canvassed area, negative results.

 

1/27: Resident reported white van with graffiti, Cal. tags, parked unoccupied on Philips Lane for half-hour, 1:42 p.m. Van belonged to neighborhood family’s tutor, parked on private property.

 

 

1/26: Walk-in wished to file complaint of harassment at her place of employment on Purdy Avenue.

 

1/26: Stairway to Haven? Caller reported red pickup with loud music playing, Haven Avenue/Winthrop Street, 11:28 a.m. Officer spoke with driver, stated he would be leaving right away.

 

1/26: Male reported being struck by motor vehicle in front of 39 Purchase Street. Cars 14, 18, EMS sent.

 

1/25: Caller stated vehicle was partially blocking her Apawamis Avenue driveway. Summons issued.

 

1/25: <Schaden.> Caller reported she accidentally damaged sign with her Mercedes SUV, Elm Place/Purchase Street, 10:51 a.m.

 

1/25: Purchase Street caller stated former employee was harassing her and family by phone.

 

1/25: Game official struck in leg with puck causing severe laceration, ambulance requested, Grandview Avenue.

 

1/25: Light-colored BMW reported driving erratically on Purchase Street, 11 p.m.

Vehicle found parked in front of Longford’s, no violations observed.

 

1/24: Phony. Colby Avenue caller reported someone opened T-Mobile, Verizon accounts in her name.

 

1/24: Third party called in regard to 14-year-old who was being harassed by adult, Rye library.

 

1/24: Deer struck by vehicle in roadway, BPR/Oakland Beach Avenue. Dispatched, recovered by DPW.

 

1/23: Caller reported dispute. Canvassed Milton Point area for party who fled on foot, had out of state warrants for fleeing state, removing ankle monitor while under house arrest. Described as light-skinned black male wearing jeans, no jacket. No local charges.

 

1/23: Fare to Midland? Highland Road caller stated vehicle she did not recognize was in her driveway, driver came to her door, may be her neighbor, 6:24 a.m. Was taxi waiting for a fare.

 

1/23: Drilling reported on Mendota Avenue, 7:20 a.m. Construction crew notified of 7:30 a.m. starting time. Warning issued.

 

1/22: Injured rabbit in roadway, Crescent Avenue. Moved to DPW.

 

1/22: Complainant reported identity theft, fraud in his accounts.

 

1/19: Allendale Drive caller reported male rang his doorbell, then returned to his car where he is drinking, 9:45 p.m. Proper identification. Was delivering party goods.

 

1/18: Walk-in wanted to document unauthorized purchases with her debit card.

 

1/18: D-minus. School bus idling more than ten minutes, Redfield Street. Condition was corrected.

 

1/17: Kids playing on partially frozen pond, Club Road/Sunset Lane. Concerned mom felt it was a danger. Youths advised of posted sign. They got off ice.

 

1/16: Eight Rules of the Road violations issued, 12-2 p.m. Peck Avenue to Old Post Road.
