9/20: Police responded to domestic dispute: husband in argument with soon-to-be-ex-wife over money. Husband’s girlfriend told both parties not to fight in front of children. Wife spat at girlfriend. Statements filed, wife arrested. Rye City Court date 10/11.
9/22: Port Chester driver stopped on Purdy Avenue and arrested for driving white Ford pickup with cracked windshield, defective brake lights, suspended license due to blood alcohol reading from prior stops. Released on $100 cash bail.
9/22: Bridgeport driver observed talking on cell phone while operating white van on Boston Post Road. Confessed to not having license. Owned interesting tattoos: outline of Uruguay on back; barcode, also on back; soccer team logo on upper left arm; sun (Uruguayan flag motif) on upper right arm … none of which prevented arrest and court date.
9/22: Green Ford Windstar, breeze coming through cracked windshield, stopped on Boston Post Road. Unlicensed Danbury driver arrested, processed; van towed. Released on $100 cash bail.9/22: Rabid raccoon dispatched on Park Avenue homeowner’s property. Firearm Discharge report filed.
9/23: High Street resident reported being turned down for Greenwich apartment because Online Information Services, Inc. said he was a “national sex offender criminal” who had been arrested in Prince William County, Virginia. NYSPIN showed no such criminal record. Given letter of good conduct from Rye PD.
9/24: License Plate Scanner indicated suspended registration for westbound vehicle on Purdy Avenue. Port Chester man identified self with 1981 birth date. Vehicle towed. Offender Mirandized. Computer check showed man actually born 1983, arrested 2006 in Port Chester for DWI. Charged with Suspended Registration, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of Motor Vehicle, False Personation.
9/24: Pink and purple Coach wallet turned in by concerned citizen. Placed in Locker E.9/24: Norman Drive resident reported burglary within past few hours. Officers dispatched.
9/26: Blue Toyota Matrix repossessed from Orchard Avenue home. Owner handed over keys to tow truck driver.
9/26: Overly tinted black Chevy Impala (light transmittance under 70%) stopped on Milton Road. Inventory of vehicle found expired inspection sticker, marijuana in baggie in center console. Computer showed bench warrant out of New York City. Suspect summonsed, given October court date, due to NYPD failing to confirm outstanding warrant hit. Marijuana placed in Locker E.
9/27: Highland Hall resident reported vehicle, destroyed in floods, removed by insurance company with license plates and belongings. Repeated attempts to retrieve license plates unavailing. Completed MV-78B form.
9/27: Hook Road resident turned in Razor mini-bike found on property. Placed in Police HQ bike rack.
