10/26: Bennett Street resident reported fraudulent charges on Discover Card. Civilian Statement requested.

10/28: Like a good neighbor. Locust Avenue caller stated green car parked in front of her residence had not moved in 24 hrs. Concerned since area prone to flooding. Vehicle properly registered. Area to be checked when storm hits.

11/1: Caller reported several people walking in Rye Road with flashlights. Thought it looked suspicious.

 

11/2: Coolidge Avenue resident called to report he was out of town due to storm, neighbor said his front door was open. Car dispatched, front door open, all appeared undisturbed. Officers secured door upon leaving.

 

11/2: Vessel reported destroyed on rocks at Hen Island North.

 

11/2: Eggs-tremely annoying. Purchase Street caller reported youths throwing eggs at cars in area.

 

11/2: DPW Foreman reported large group by DPW office. Cars 18 and 10 dispatched to disperse group. Spoke to resident on Rose Street, advised to keep children out of DPW.

 

11/2: Uninvited. Caller reported an open fire in driveway, Glen Oaks Drive/Park Avenue. Residents having barbecue.

 

11/2: Omelettin’ you off, but don’t do it again. Youths throwing eggs at cars from Greenwood Union Cemetery.

 

11/2: Report of chimney fire, Midland/Intervale.

 

11/3: Charge of the Lightheaded Brigade. Female caller reported that male driver refused to let her out of mini-van she got into on Cowles Avenue to charge her phone. Stated she didn’t know the guy. Parties highly intoxicated. Female requested cab to go home.

 

11/3: And maybe get a fence. Report of Midland Avenue neighbors having verbal issue over property line. Officers advised parties to settle civil issue in court and to refrain from speaking to one another.

 

11/4: Unsafe harbor. Harbor Lane residents reported they couldn’t leave block due to Con Ed taping over exit as work area. Officer observed wires across the road. Con Ed Safety personnel located on scene advised no ETA on restoration.

 

11/4: Report of generator against Park Avenue home, creating smoke hazard.

 

11/4: Report of Theodore Fremd garage attendant pulling people out of line to give them gas creating an issue.

 

11/4: Seal you later! Report of a seal washed up on beach near Island Drive. Still alive, but possibly sick. Animal made its way back into water.

 

11/4: Report of disputes over gas amounts at pump. Officers explained it was a civil issue.

 

11/5: Car struck deer on Exit 19, I-95. Deer moved to side of road.

 

11/5: Con Ed workers at Milton Road claimed resident threatened to shoot them with a revolver.

 

11/5: Getty-ing organized. Traffic due to gas lines at Getty station, Hornidge Road/US1. Manager advised to monitor traffic, make sure gas line stays on right side of road, not blocking road traffic.

 

11/5: RPD called to assist gas stations with closings. No incidents.

 

11/5: Traffic jam at Theodore Fremd/Locust due to gas delivery.

 

11/5: Traffic due to gas delivery, BPR/Orchard Avenue.

 

11/6: Milton Road resident requested assistance opening a locked bathroom door. Party assisted.

 

11/6: Wainwright Street resident reported alarm sounding in her house and too nervous to investigate. All secure.

 

11/6: Midland Avenue resident reported what sounded like glass breaking at Belluscio’s restaurant. Observed black SUV leaving the driveway.

 

11/6: Post Road Market owner reported business was burglarized overnight. Detective Woods reported burglary at BPR gas station. Report of attempted burglary at Shell Station, BPR/Purdy Avenue.

 

11/6: Rye Beverage Mart owner reported store broken into overnight.

 

11/6: One shell of a storm. Assisted Rye Shell with closure of gas line and station. Closed without issue.

 

11/6: Caller reported Con Ed workers going door to door, Julian Street/Grandview Avenue, in unmarked vehicle. Unfounded.

 

11/7: Say it ain’t snow! Report of low-hanging wire in front of Captain’s Lane residence. Appeared to be cable/telephone wires downed by snow. Passable.

 

11/8: Caller reported cell phone taken from her deli. She had it on video and got in touch with party who took it. Phone to be returned. Did not wish to press charges.

 

11/8: Caller reported her car was struck in back by gray BMW at Thruway Access Drive/Old Post Road. Hit and Run.

 

11/9: Caller reported stop sign at Manursing Way/Forest Avenue had spray paint on it and was less effective.

 

11/9: Suspicious persons reported on Milton Road. Turned out to be parties with FEMA, passing out information regarding their services.

 

11/9: Ran out of eggs. Motorist stated youths throwing snowballs at cars, almost causing accidents.
