6/3: Highland Road complainants stated they noticed cash missing from drawer, check of outdoor video showed an unknown male entering their home at 3 a.m.

5/30: Follow-up to report of suspicious Asian male walking by Sackett Landing. Found at Grace Church Street, advised not to walk on private property and in backyards. Language barrier, apparently homeless. Directed to train station.

5/26: Magnolia Place caller stated his neighbor was on his property with dogs and he has confronted neighbor several times about it. Officer’s attempt to contact owner of animals unsuccessful.
5/26: Maple Avenue caller reported she was locked out of house, left key inside while parents out of town. Advised to call locksmith.
5/26: Walk-in reported unknown party broke his vehicle’s window while parked at Rey Rec.
5/26: Anonymous caller reported fight about to break out at Midland School field. Group causing trouble GOA. Small group of youths left playing basketball, non-residents. Dispersed.
5/26: Midland Avenue resident reported hearing two gunshots fired. Canvassed area with negative results. Park Street residents heard what sounded like two fireworks.
5/25: Caller reported lot of screaming and hollering in Gagliardo Park. Youths playing basketball.
5/25: Cottage squeeze. Caller reported cars parked illegally making it difficult to get out of his driveway, Cottage Street/Midland Avenue. Summons issued.
5/25: Kids’ yellow Trek Jet bike found in front of Graham’s Funeral Home, taken to HQ.
5/25: Callers reported trees down, Osborn/Boston Post roads and York Avenue. DPW notified.
5/25: Eldridge Place caller reported receiving unwanted threatening phone calls.
5/24: The Sun Also Screeches. Forest Avenue complainant showed officer damage made to her French doors caused by pecking by hens, as well as bird feces covering her patio and yard. Showed photos of hens at back door, pointed out neighbors shed, which they use as chicken coop, stated hens make loud screeching noise similar to rooster when sun rises. Officer witnessed one or two hens walking on complainant’s property, contacted hens’ owner, who said they “fed some wild birds.” Officer explained he knew of hen ownership, issued two summonses: Harboring of animals and nuisance from hen noise.
