8/20: Green Avenue complainant stated suspicious vehicle followed her by Stuyvesant/Van Wagenen avenues.

 

8/19: Flippant behavior. Officer reported planters flipped over near consignment shop on Purchase Street and Theodore Fremd bus bench. Property returned to proper locations.

 

8/19: Caller reported middle-aged male wearing yellow shirt, jeans shouting to himself and acting strange in Station Plaza. G.O.A.

 

8/19: Wainwright Street resident made statement about ongoing problem with neighbor’s dog.

 

8/19: Library reported youth sleeping on patio prior to opening, hospital band on wrist.

 

8/19: Benjamin on Rye. Caller reported finding counterfeit $100 bill near Oakland Beach deli.

 

8/18: Caller reported white-haired male wearing dark pants with stripe urinating in hall at Purchase Street location. Officers spoke briefly with complainant.

 

8/18: Cottage Street resident reported white Tacoma parked in front of his house for at least two days. Summons issued.

 

8/18: Large Rottweiler reported in roadway by Forest Avenue/Playland Parkway. Dog ran home.

 

8/17: Gone Before Arrival. Caller reported a dark-colored Acura backed into her car at RTP and took off.

 

8/17: Officer assisted Harrison K-9 unit in search after party broke into vehicle, Playland Park.

 

8/17: City Code violation. Warning issued to paint crew, advised of legal hours for construction.

 

8/17: Hush, Hush. Caller reported white Honda van with occupants sleeping inside, Playland Parkway/Charlotte Street.

 

8/16: Leaf blowers, Grace Church Street.

 

8/16: Walk-in youth reported skateboard stolen, mother filed report.

 

8/16: The Shining. Caller reported Rye Gables resident shined spotlight into his Rye Colony apartment. Settled on scene, light adjusted.

 

8/16: Vessel in Distress. Had hose disconnect, owner repaired and stopped water from coming in. Mayday cancelled.

 

8/15: Caller reported youths wearing camp counselor T-shirts drinking in woods behind parking lot by brook, Highland Road/Wappanocca Avenue. Brought to HQ, released to parents.

 

8/15: Tastes great! Less Filling! Loud verbal altercation reported, Midland Avenue. Parties separated, statements documented.

 

8/14: Male reported sleeping on picnic table, Gagliardo Park. New Rochelle resident, stopped in park to rest, went home.

 

8/14: Triple Play. Overdale Road caller reported 1 lawn mower, 2 leaf blowers, 1 weed whacker being used at same time.

 

8/14: DPW worker injured during tree work, fell 6 feet into brook, severe pain to leg. EMS transported to Greenwich Hospital.

 

8/12: Bradford Avenue resident stated youths who live in area rang her doorbell, ran off, ongoing harassment occurring late at night. Detectives’ investigation continues.

 

8/12: The Shining II. Report of vehicle shining flashlight into driveways, Philips Lane/Forest Avenue. Delivering lost airline luggage.

 

8/11: Complainant reported his vehicle’s window broken overnight, Station Plaza.

 

8/10: Male reported using lawn mower after legal hours, Dearborn Avenue.

 

8/10: Caller reported teenager soliciting funds for college, Oneida Street/Highland Road.

 

8/8: 12:21 a.m. Westchester County Police reported victim at their precinct who stated she was robbed at knifepoint inside Rye Town Park. Suspects are three Hispanic males, one wearing long-sleeved red/white striped shirt, two wearing sneakers, one wearing black bandana. RPD Detective Division investigating.

 

8/8: Moby, Moby not. Caller reported what appeared to be whale in shallows near Water’s Edge.

 

8/9: Byrd Street resident reported youth ringing doorbell, running. Left note on doorstep. G.O.A.

 

8/9: Wainwright Street caller stated neighbor has used dumpster on his property without permission. Situation corrected.

8/7: Caller reported Hispanic male wearing baggy jeans and black sweatshirt left bag behind near Station ticket office by Wells Fargo ATM. Active NYC warrant.

 

8/7: Complainant reported bicycle stolen form rack at Station Plaza.

 

8/6: Hill Street caller stated she observed two skateboarders in roadway, one of them almost getting hit by vehicle, concerned for their safety.

 

8/5: Caller reported loud sound and followed by black Ford SUV, operated by young white male with brown hair, exiting Stuyvesant Avenue driveway by Milton Road.

 

8/5: Billington Court resident reported someone in black Ford SUV threw explosive into his mailbox, destroyed it, then fled.

 

8/5: Resident reported someone used leaf blowers on Elmwood Avenue.

 

8/5: Caller stated jewelry stolen from her Island Drive residence, Citi card belonging to suspect entered into evidence.

 

8/5: Caller reported African-American male acting suspiciously near home on Overlook Place. Man left area at high rate of speed in dark red Subaru with Vermont plates. Parties happened to be visiting friends at nearby home.

 

8/5: Can’t tell a brook by its color. Complainant stated three motorcyclists parked in Highland Hall lot and one urinated into the brook.

 

8/4: Barlow Street resident reported loud party on Douglas Circle. Condition corrected.

 

8/4: Greenhaven caller stated three cars entered beach area making lots of noise.

 

8/4: Martin Butler Court resident reported leaf blowers used all morning.

 

8/4: Overlook Place resident reported several parked vehicles, concerned due to past petty theft incidents in neighborhood.

 

8/4: Officer investigating suspicious group of youths entering wooded area, RNC.

 

8/3: Marriott reported large group of disorderly people in parking lot.

 

8/3: Several calls complaining of noise, loud music from CVS parking lot. Group of five youths talking from their vehicles, group dispersed.

 

8/3: Complainant stated her iPad was stolen from local salon.

 

8/3: Maple/Locust avenue stop sign missing, found at 6 Graham Court. Sign replaced. DPW on site, Officer requested more permanent sign position.

 

8/3: Phillips Lane caller stated fishermen trespassed onto her property.

 

8/3: No bull. Maple/Central avenue resident reported loose pit bull in area. Unfounded.

 

8/2: Marriott night manager reported heated argument in room 207. Corrected, small group dispersed.

 

8/2: Leaf blowers, Holly Lane.

 

8/2: Time to upgrade. Walk-in complainant reported being harassed by cell phone.

 

8/2: Report of injured deer, Playland Parkway/Theall Road. Wildlife personnel had examined same deer week before and stated deer could survive with injured leg.

 

8/1: Cops curb club camp car calamity. Callers reported Stuyvesant/Van Wagenen avenues blocked by large trucks. Two different companies, two different jobs blocking road. Vehicles moved and companies told not to conduct work during club camp pick-up/drop-off.

7/31: Kneed to fix it. Complainant reported her son tripped on crumbling portion of sidewalk, south side of Cedar Street, injured both knees.

 

7/31: Radcliffe Avenue caller reported hearing loud crash and glass breaking. Object fell in garage.

 

7/30: You’re in big trouble. Bradford Avenue resident reported trouble with doorbell being rung and urine thrown on patio by kids, going on for seven months.

 

7/29: Central Avenue resident walk-in reported son’s bike stolen.

 

7/28: Dude: peace, Zen, harmony. Wainwright House manager reported damage to property. Stated intoxicated guest broke into office looking for his jacket, doorframe damaged.

 

7/28: Marriott night manager reported disturbance on third floor. Three intoxicated males, one female in hallway disturbing other guests.

 

7/27: Rock removal reported in early a.m., Dearborn Avenue. Advised of City Code.

 

7/27: Report of two males rolling joints, smoking same in street IFO residences by  Roosevelt Avenue/Horton Lane, both wearing Playland employee uniforms. Spoke with individuals, no sign of drug activity.

 

7/27: Shame-rock. Large fight reported off Playland aboard Shamrock.

 

7/26: Harrison PD looking for four to six teens dressed in black with hoodies in connection with larceny from vehicles in Park Drive South area.

7/24: Smashed with a leaf blower? Brevoort Lane caller reported her car window was smashed and her purse stolen overnight.

 

7/24: Caller stated she wasreceiving telemarketing calls even after repeatedly telling them not to call. Now, caller is being vulgar.

 

7/24: Spanky & Butch, at it again. Midland School field callers stated some kids threw stink bombs at them. Youths calling other youths names when officer arrived. One group ran off, caller did not know their names.

 

7/24: Alfalfa too, maybe. Bradford Avenue resident reported youths rang her door bell, ran down street, and were hanging out on Bradford bridge. Complainant review video footage and possibly file statement.

 

7/24: Horton Street caller reported neighbor’s loud party disturbing her peace, keeping her kids awake, and one of their cars blocking her driveway.

 

7/23: Parting the dead tree. Caller reported wires, tree down, area of Forest/Overhill avenues. Officer was able to move large branch to roadside to open traffic.

 

7/23: Rye Y reported parking attendant was threatened with knife. Area searched, negative results.

 

7/23: Complaints of turn restriction violations from Rye Country Day parking lot.

 

7/23: Caller reported leaf blower being used on Midland, one block north of Apawamis Avenue. Canvassed area, negative results.

 

7/22: Say you want a resolution…Traffic dispute, Milton Road. Complainant stated he was passed on left. Other party stated he was victim, and neither tailgated nor almost sideswiped complainant. No damage to either vehicle, incident resolved.

 

7/22: Peck Avenue/Station Plaza, scofflaw violation. Vehicle towed.

 

7/21: Buoys will be buoys. Buoy 12 broke loose within Harbor, drifted into reeds by Harbor House. Secured to buoy 10. Boat Basin, Coast Guard notified.

 

7/21: Observed vessel with child on board without PFD. Boarded.

7/21: Suspicious subject reported at Chase Bank. Party kicked ATM. Had been fired and was upset.

7/20: Arbor-tration. Large tree reported fallen on Locust Avenue by Maple Avenue. DPW notified.

7/20: Caller reported trash out front more than 24 hours, four days, in fact. Resident to take garbage inside until trash day.
