9/4: Extra hourly patrol, Osborn Retirement Community, 8:44 a.m.


9/4: Extra hourly patrol, Con Edison corporate offices and maintenance yard, 8:50 a.m.


9/4: Extra patrols, Osborn/Con Ed Corporate and Maintenance, 9:38-9:58 a.m.


9/4: Report of very large coyote on Apawamis Club 17th fairway previous day.


9/4: Report of Hillside Avenue leaf blower violation. Advised offender of City Code.


9/4: Midland Avenue complainant stated neighbor’s pit bull running around in street causing dangerous condition.


9/5: Stamford PD requested Evergreen Avenue resident contact them regarding incident that occurred in their jurisdiction. Resident did not own cell phone. Officers dispatched.


9/5: BPR/Oakland Beach Avenue crosswalk signal malfunction. DPW on scene to fix.


9/5: Franklin Avenue resident reported her driveway was blocked and she could not get out. Summons issued.


9/5: Extra patrol, Osborn, Con Ed office and maintenance yards, 9:22-9:28 a.m./10:16-10:22 a.m.


9/5: Operation Safeguard check of Verizon building. All okay.


9/5: Smith Street caller stated he could not get out of driveway due to vehicle blocking it. Summons issued. Driver settled on scene with towing company.


9/5: Suspicious 33-foot Sea Ray on Port Chester Harbor mooring, hadn’t moved. Vessel appeared three weeks prior. Boarded, ownership information documented.


9/6: Grrrrrr. Complaint of dog in car for five hours. Owner contacted. Retrieved dog.


9/7: Repo operator stated owner struck him while he attempted to repo vehicle on Midland Avenue. Officer observed no incident at scene, no dispute, and no injuries to any party. Vehicle impounded.


9/7: Cleaner than the fish. Check of seven anglers at Rye Town Dock showed no violations.


9/8: BPR/Parsons Street caller said she struck a telephone pole.


9/9: Operation Safeguard extra patrols, Community Synagogue, 1:30 a.m., 3:22 a.m., 4:44 a.m.


9/9: Caller reported daughter in Forest Avenue home alone and white male in 30s with dark hat, blue jeans trying to enter. Party was canvassing for local candidate in November elections.


9/9: Report of Central Avenue man’s dog biting neighbor.


9/9: Roosevelt Avenue/Adelaide Street caller reported solicitor looking disoriented, 2:30 p.m. White male, long brown hair, brown pants. Party advised of City Code relating to hours.


9/9: Indian Hill Road complainant wished to make statement regarding incident between her and neighbor regarding loose dog.


9/9: Good fence might fix that. Midland Avenue complainant stated his neighbors do not like him and were harassing him.


9/11: Barlow Lane caller reported raccoon acting rabid in her backyard. Raccoon appeared old, not rabid, left property.


9/11: Sorry, gotta leaf. Unable to dispatch for Midland Avenue/Cottage Street leaf-blower violation due to incident at Rye Hospital Center.


9/11: Female caller stated involuntary Rye Hospital Center patient left grounds without permission.


9/11: Osborn resident reported someone had entered her residence on two successive days and taken property. Officer dispatched.


9/11: Stuyvesant Avenue caller reported she lost wallet and someone had charged items to her credit cards. Complainant located wallet, verified she had charged items.


9/13: Coyote seen wandering on Charlotte Street by Playland Parkway at 1:28 a.m.


9/14: Several calls reported disorderly conduct by group of youths at BPR/Central Avenue. Parties dispersed.


9/15: Marine unit assisted vessel stuck in mud in Milton Harbor.


9/15: Coyote sighted on Manursing Way near causeway at 10 p.m.


9/16: Centre Street caller reported tall white male lurking around his house.


9/16: Caller reported intoxicated female lying in middle of Maple Avenue arguing with her boyfriend.


9/16: Summons-times you’re just unlucky. Undersize fish and over-the-limit violations at Playland Pier. Summonses issued.


9/16: Sound Road caller reported raccoon in house on second floor. Officer escorted raccoon off premise.


9/17: Male caller stated juveniles in Oneida/Mendota area making noise, ringing bells.


9/17: Soundview Avenue caller reported group of youths on Rye Golf Club 10th hole screaming, possibly destroying property.


9/17: Report of loud group of teens in back of Rye High near field house.
