On December 18, a group of Sole Ryeders families helped prepare and serve brunch for more than 70 guests in support of the Pinwheel Project’s partnership with the Ronald McDonald House in Valhalla. The guests were families whose children are receiving care from the Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital and others who are ‘alumni’ of this Ronald McDonald House. Singing and gift giving were the order of the day.

“Seeing the happy faces of the children and their parents made me feel I was doing something to help, which is so important, especially this time of year,” said Grant Janart, a sophomore at Rye High School. The other Rye students who helped were Ella, Jesse, and Beth Staines, and Alice and Antoine Verdier.
Sole Ryeders has awarded a grant and provided non-monetary support to The Pinwheel Project in support of their cancer-related programs.
