Remembering a Great Man
It was with great sadness that I read of the passing of Rabbi Robert Rothman on The Rye Record website. He was a true gift to the Rye community.
We were members of Community Synagogue when we lived in Rye. Rabbi Rothman performed the bar mitzvah for my son, the bat mitzvah for my daughter, and the service for my daughter’s wedding.
He was a great orator. His sermons where spellbinding.
People like him don’t come around very often.
