In addition to having a new executive director, the Rye Arts Center has a new board president.

In addition to having a new executive director, the Rye Arts Center has a new board president. Last month, Meg Rodriguez replaced Helen Gates in the top job, and, after Dr. Jeff Taylor stepped down as board president because he is running for a seat on the Rye City Council, Steve Cadenhead was appointed to serve as Interim President.

“Steve has been an essential member of the board since the day he joined,” said Rodriguez. He has chaired the Personnel and Systems committees and served on the Executive, Finance, and programming committees. Last year, he chaired the very successful Annual Appeal.

“Jeff did a wonderful job leading the arts center through a period of growth,” Rodriguez continued, “and Steve is the right person to build on that success.
