Reality TV star Bethenny Frankel, known for creating the Skinnygirl brand of diet-friendly food products, has been spotted in Rye lately popping in and out of local businesses.
She took to Instagram last month to extol the desserts of The Snackery, a Purchase Street bakery.
“This is the best bakery I’ve ever seen in my whole life,” Frankel, a Greenwich resident, gushed on an Instagram post that showed her perusing The Snackery’s products. “This is insane.”
Noting the “fairy bites, the gorgeous cupcakes, the cake bites, banana bread, and s’mores bars,” Frankel tells her daughter (who is never seen on camera) to “pretend you don’t know me” after she discovers the bakery’s pastel pink, puffy “Snowball Cake.”

“It’s a Snowball cake!” Frankel says. “Like a Hostess cupcake!” Frankel drops to the floor and notes she’s embarrassing her daughter by “having an orgasm in a cake store.”
The Snackery took advantage of Frankel’s enthusiasm, posting the video on its own Instagram page.
