Hudson Valley Restaurant Week returns to Rye March 9-22. Nearly 200 of the region’s top restaurants offer prix fixe, three-course dinners for $29.95 and lunches for $20.95, plus beverages, tax, and gratuity. Many of the participating restaurants feature Hudson Valley products on their menus.
>In Rye, thrifty diners can choose among Frankie & Johnnie’s Steakhouse, La Panetière, Morgan’s Fish House, and Ruby’s Oyster Bar, all of which offer prix fixe lunch and dinner.
Frankie & Johnnie’s three-course lunch offers a choice of F & J Salad, maryland lump crab cakes, or soup to begin; choice of steak sandwich, chicken parmigiana, F & J Cheeseburger, or fish of the day; followed by a Chef’s dessert selection.
La Panetière’s selections are a medley of seasonal lettuces, velouté of cauliflower soup, or fideua with grilled shrimp; followed by salmon steak with capers, braised lamb, or blanquette of farm chicken; and, palette of house desserts.
