The Rye Middle School Squash Club A Team were finalists in the Boys Division II at the U.S.
The Rye Middle School Squash Club A Team were finalists in the Boys Division II at the U.S. Middle School Squash Championship held January 31-February 2 at Yale University. With 16 teams in their division, the Rye A team finished second to Brunswick School’s B team.
World Champion squash player David Palmer, along with Dean Young of Westchester Squash in Mamaroneck, coached the fine young team. The Rye players were among 351 boys and girls competing among 58 middle school teams from across the nation.
