Rye’s boys soccer team didn’t wait long to bounce back from its first loss of the season. The Garnets scored all of their goals in the first half of a 5-0 win Friday at Pearl River.
Two days after being shut out by Byram Hills, junior Alec Dodge Terra scored twice for Rye (3-1-1), which also got goals from senior Lex Cox, freshman Connor Dehmer, and sophomore Felix Wismer.
Junior Kasen Scarperi had two assists, while Cox, Dehmer, and sophomore Cole Furber each added one.
Sophomore Will Alexander made three saves in goal for Rye.
The Garnets host Rye Neck at 5 p.m. Monday in Nugent Stadium.
