Newly-appointed RFD Captain John McDwyer
On August 26, City Manager Greg Usrey announced that John McDwyer, a 29-year veteran of Rye Fire Department was appointed Fire Captain. He previously served as Lieutenant and the City’s Fire Inspector since early 2020.
McDwyer will be presented with his Captain’s badge August 31at 10 a.m. at City Hall.
