The Rye Professional Firefighters are hosting a St. Patrick’s Day ball and fundraiser at the Harrison Meadows Country Club on March 13 to support local philanthropic efforts.

A fully packed night, this year’s ball aims to build on the momentum of last year’s fundraiser. About $45,000 went to local entities last year – including $25,000 to the Rye Nature Center, and $10,000 each to the Midland Thrive Outside Campaign, Osborn Elementary School’s PTA Scholarship, and the Rye Free Reading Room.

“The Rye Professional Firefighters St. Patrick’s Day Ball has quickly become a marquee community event, blending Irish heritage, generosity, and celebration in support of causes that directly benefit Rye and the broader firefighter community,” the organization said.

This year’s event on March 13 will begin with a cocktail hour at 6:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 8 p.m. The ball will also include a live auction and a silent auction, live music, and a roaming photobooth.

At the live auction, participants can bid on gold experiences at Winged Foot Golf Club and Westchester Country Club, a Rao’s restaurant reservation, a Bahamas vacation, and more. The Rye Professional Firefighters will also debut new merchandise available for purchase during the ball.

Guests will also have access to the Guinness Bar, which will host the fan-favorite “Split-the-G” contest. The bar will also serve other Irish-themed cocktails throughout the evening.

General admission tickets are on sale for $350 at 2029fundraising.com. There are also VIP or full table ticket options.
