The Rye Historical Society will host a holiday gathering and fundraiser on Nov. 30 at the Square House.
“During this end of year giving season, the Rye Historical Society looks forward to coming together with these impactful organizations that serve the Rye community and help it to thrive,” the organization said.
The “Season of Giving at the Square House” partners with various local organizations to offer holiday cheer this season. Participants will be able to say hello to Santa, enjoy hot chocolate, listen to festive music, purchase wreaths from the Rye Troop 2, do crafts, and donate non-perishable food to Meals on Main St.
For its fundraiser, the Rye Historical Society will also put on an auction where attendees can bid on decorated tabletop trees designed by some of Rye’s best.
The “Season of Giving at the Square House” is scheduled for noon to 3 p.m. on Sunday.
