On today’s episode, Kim Berns sits down with artists Fleur Spolidor and Clare Knox-Bentham to chat about their work through the lens of today’s social and political landscape.
Fleur Spolidor is a French-American visual artist whose work shines a light on pressing social issues and environmental issues, particularly women’s rights and climate change. Spolidor’s exhibit, The Unforgiving Yardstick, is still on view at the Rye Historical Society.
Clare Knox-Bentham is a multidisciplinary artist whose playful approach and obsession with colors is apparent in all her work. Knox-Bentham is also a highly experienced educator and mentor – she worked at the Manchester Metropolitan University for more than 10 years as a program leader before relocating from England to Amsterdam in 2023 and setting up her consultant practice.
