Our family got Peanut about a year ago from a foster home through Pet Rescue in Larchmont. He was put in a foster home with three other dogs. His old name was Pecan but we didn’t think that was the right name for him, so we changed his name to Peanut. We loved him the first time we met him and brought him home. He was very gentle and didn’t care if you accidentally pulled his tail!

peantPeanut is a mutt. He’s a Jack Russell Terrier, Pug, and Chihuahua mix. He now weighs about 20 pounds and is about 34 inches long. We give him small treats a lot, but he likes big treats too. Peanut likes to play fetch, go on long walks, and play outside. He has brownish eyes, a black nose, white fur, and brown spots on his fur. One of the spots goes around his eye and is on his ear!
So, that’s our rescue dog Peanut.
