…<<Lara Martin>>, a three-year stalwart of the Rye High School Girls’ Golf team, made Garnets golf history April 10 when she hit a hole in one.
It was the Garnets first match of the season, and they were up against Bronxville at Siwanoy Country Club. After teeing off at the 6th hole, she didn’t realize she’d aced the shot until cheers erupted — the ball went past the hole and then rolled backward.
