Co-head lacrosse coaches Brian and Scott Dooley received a surprise earlier this month when Rye High lacrosse parents and boosters recognized them for a decade of service to the program at the annual Face Off dinner. Steve Hasselmann presented the brothers with plaques on April 3, marking their 10th anniversary of coaching at Rye High School.
“We are so grateful to be part of the Rye lacrosse community,’’ said the Dooleys. “We are excited to see the pipeline of players as they move up the Rye youth lacrosse ranks and become future Garnets.”
The Dooley brothers have compiled an impressive 125-59 career record while at Rye High.
Under the Dooleys’ tutelage, the Garnets have won four Section C Championships since 2005 and advanced to the Class B playoffs last spring before losing in the semi-finals.
