Over 300 guests enjoyed a starry evening overlooking the Sound in support of the Rye Historical Society June 7. The annual gala was held at the waterfront home of Barbara and Fred Cummings. Lovers of historic preservation gave and bid generously to support programs at the Square and Knapp houses, two of Rye’s oldest and most distinguished structures.
