Rye Pack 2 and Pack 11 Cub Scouts crossed an important bridge — to Boy Scouts — March 13 at the Senior Webelos Court of Honor held in the Rye Presbyterian Church Assembly Room.

 

After the Presentation of Colors and welcoming of honored guests, including the Mayor, the City Manager, and two City Council members, a fiery tale was told. Dressed in full Native American regalia, Bob Rice, Denise Griggs, and Paul Knudsvig, former Cubmaster, told the Story of Akela.

No arrows flew, but the boys beamed brightly when they were presented with Arrows of Light.
