Small, Spare, and Soaring
There were few dry eyes in the audience last month at Rye High School at the conclusion of the weekend performances of “Our Town”, Thornton Wilder’s timeless portrait of small-town life at the turn of the 20th century. Under the direction of Mr. Peter Green, with minimal set and props as the writer intended, a cast of 23 actors brought us closer to the joys and sorrows of the human condition.
Hats off to Tess Greenshaw, the stage manager who narrates the play, Nate Valsania who portrayed George, Kiera Webb who played Emily, and the rest of the fine cast.
