In Bavaria, Oktoberfest is a 16-day celebration. The Friends of Rye Nature Center pulls it off in just one night! Dozens arrived in lederhosen; everyone enjoyed hops, vines, and delicious food at the annual fundraiser. Creative auction items were offered, with all proceeds helping to support ongoing RNC environmental stewardship, conservation, and teaching programs.
