It was a busy week for Rye Garden Club members, who refreshed the Purchase Street and Purdy Avenue pots with pansies for spring, and, a few days later, gathered at Edith Read Wildlife Sanctuary to install the framework for a new pollinator garden.
It was a busy week for Rye Garden Club members, who refreshed the Purchase Street and Purdy Avenue pots with pansies for spring, and, a few days later, gathered at Edith Read Wildlife Sanctuary to install the framework for a new pollinator garden. That garden will be planted in cooperation with Westchester County to celebrate Rye Garden Club’s 100th birthday. Member-constructed raised beds will house native plants for pollinators.
