It’s time to tune into the third episode of RyeTV’s “Rye Views.” The summer show features an eclectic mix of fashion, art, and sports plus people and issues all unique to the community. It airs on Fridays this month at 10, 1, 4, and 9 on Cablevision Channel 76 and Verizon Channel 33.
Highlighting the lineup is a new feature, “Chic it Up” with personal stylist Cynthia Hudson, who shows how fun and easy a makeover can be at Hudson Paul, Angela’s, and Blue Mercury. Viewers can also learn about affordable art as Margot Clark-Junkins explores the Clay Art Center in Port Chester and the Center for Contemporary Printmaking in South Norwalk. Ken Knowles catches up with new SPRYE board member Joan Feinstein to talk about giving back to the community.
And no summer would be complete without spending time at the beach. Need a little summer indulgence? Kate Stevens (“Kate in the Kitchen”) shows you how to create a sinful chocolate pie. Sue O’Brien and Susanna Cronin (“What’s on Your Mind with Sue and Susanna”) are back again covering topics such as summer break and traveling with kids, community service, fall sports tryouts, hot school issues, and more. And this writer captures the ever-popular Rye Beach Volleyball nighttime scene.
“Rye Views,” a quarterly magazine show, was created and produced by Rye residents in conjunction with RyeTV staff. Executive Producer Paula Fung hosts the show with Mary Hannon Fitzgibbons, who assists with editing. Susan Olson and MaryEllen Doran help with production.
