Private fundraising dollars — historically used for programs and enrichment — are increasingly covering basic needs.
The last piece of furniture, a row of connected pods used for quiet solo studying, arrived on campus on Feb. 21.
By the close of the weekend, the event raised a record-breaking $15,000 to support library programs and services. Leftover books were donated to over a dozen charities and hospitals.
The overhaul, projected to cost $100,000 and financed primarily by money raised at 2023’s Casino Night, will feature new flooring, a new layout and fresh paint.
