For more than 40 years, he devoted himself to serving his patients as a neurologist in private practice, with offices in Mamaroneck and the Bronx, and later Rye.
Being a father and a grandfather was Joe’s true passion and calling.
He coached youth football in Port Chester, Rye Girls Softball and Rye Little League. He was president of the Rye Babe Ruth League for three years.
She cheered on the Rye High School boys ice hockey team, loved music and modern dance, and chaired the Girl Scouts’ Cookie Drive.
He was chairman of the City of Rye Commission on Human Rights, recipient of the key to the city of Rye, and served on the Board of Governors for the American Jewish Committee.
She was employed for many years at Village Savings Bank in Rye, NY. She was also a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, and a member of the Rye Seniors.
