On Friday, June 14, 6:30 p.m., at Shenorock Shore Club, the Rye Historical Society celebrates its 60th anniversary with an evening of dinner and dancing.
The students investigate traditional and non-traditional materials, take bigger risks and experiment more freely with different media as they build up their profiles.
Their passion for the age group is palpable so it’s no wonder that Random House found them through social media and approached them about writing a book aimed at girls ages 10 to 14.
A collection of 35 photographs that tell stories, imbue emotion, and create atmosphere can be seen at the Rye Arts Center as part of The Ground Glass’s 48th Annual Juried Exhibit.
