Van Wagenen — Mudano
Mr. and Mrs. Bert Van Wagenen of Rye, New York, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Lisbeth Miller Van Wagenen to Robert Louis Mudano, the son of Dr. and Mrs. Mark Mudano of Milledgeville, Georgia.
The future bride is a graduate of Rye High School and Davidson College where she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a minor in Philosophy. She received her Master of Accounting from Wake Forest in 2011, graduating at the top of her class. She is a manager at KPMG in their Deal Advisory practice in Atlanta.
The future groom is a graduate of Hilton Head Preparatory School and Davidson College, from which he received a ROTC scholarship and a Bachelor of Arts in History with a minor in Chinese. Upon graduation, he was commissioned as an officer in the U.S. Army and served a tour of duty in Afghanistan in 2012. He resigned his commission as a Captain and received a Master of International Policy from the University of Georgia. He is now a Post-Masters fellow at Savannah River National Lab, working in their Global Security division.
Libby and Robert met in 2009 during their junior year at Davidson and are planning a late summer wedding.
