Voters Have Another Week to Cast
Their School Budget/Board Ballots
Until yesterday, June 9 was the deadline for New Yorkers to vote yea or nay on their district’s 2020-21 School Budget and to decide which of the candidates running they endorse. But on June 8, Gov. Andrew Cuomo issued an executive order extending the deadline. Voters now have until Tuesday, June 16, at 5 p.m. to mail in their ballots.
If you are a registered voter in the Rye City School District and have not yet received a ballot and a prepaid return envelope by mail, contact District Clerk Lauren McGowan at 967-6100, ext. 6291. Voters in the Rye Neck School District who have not received a ballot should contact District Clerk
Mary Ellen Chiera at 777-5252 or mchiera@ryeneck.org.
