Financial Leaders Share Wisdom With Eager Gryphons
School of the Holy Child’s Leadership Institute in Finance 0ffers a two-year seminar course focused on empowering girls to master financial literacy and to develop skills to prepare them for internships and careers in finance.
The Institute recently hosted a lunchtime panel for juniors and seniors with the U.S. Women’s Network Steering Committee of NatWest Markets of Stamford, Conn.
Michelle Girard, Holy Child parent and co-head of Global Economics at NatWest, convened the panel seven female leaders from the areas of strategy, sales and trading, risks and controls, legal, and human resources. They shared their career paths, lessons learned, suggestions for thinking about the future, and how they collaborate to develop female talent at NatWest.
The gathering of financial talent exemplified one of the program’s goals: to encourage students to consider careers in which women are a minority,
and help them develop the confidence to be successful.
