Taylor Washington, a 2011 Rye Country Day alumnus, recently signed with Worcester FC Hydra, a new franchise in the Professional Development Soccer League.
After an outstanding high school soccer career, that included All-Fairchester Athletic Association (2010 and 2011) and ESPN High School All-American (2011) recognition, Washington started 14 varsity soccer games last fall as a defender for Boston University. There, he contributed to the team’s 2011 American East championship soccer season.
