Wave Ryeders in Crest Control

sp-wavethumbThe Rye YMCA Wave Ryeder swim team started their season off right, winning their first meet of the season at home against the Tarrytown YMCA November 20.  “The team swam well with several exciting races,” said Head Coach Kate Tiedemann. The Wave Ryeders returned to action December 2, competing successfully against the Greenwich Boys and Girls Club. They are training hard for a dual meet December 18 against the Mt. Vernon and Yonkers YMCA’s.

Special congratulations to those swimmers who came out on top in their divisions in both of the meets: Matthew Capaldi and Michael Sinnott (8 and under); Pablo Collin, Amelia Lore, and Shoshanna Victor (10 and under); Marius Collin, Jane Curran, Caitlin Daley, and Adele Harshbarger  (12 and under); and Alex Corda, Casmir Harshbarger, Morgan Howells, and Thomas Mackey (13 and over).
