This exhibition showcases nine galvanized steel sculptures by sculptor Isamu Noguchi. While Noguchi is best recognized for his work in stone, he also worked in aluminum and steel and was drawn to the reflective qualities of metal. He describes the contrast between these materials in saying, “Here is where finally opposites come together, I see a surprising purity. Stone is the depth, metal the mirror. They do not conflict.”
