Mother Nature smiled down on the first annual Fall Festival to benefit the Edith G. Read Sanctuary October 13th, providing a glorious day for the much-anticipated “birdapalooza.” Over a thousand nature lovers came out to enjoy animal workshops and exhibitions, creative activities, live music, fun crafts, and delicious food in the glorious surroundings that encompass our splendid sanctuary by the sound. Many went home with pumpkins they’d picked. All went home smiling, especially Jana Seitz who spirited the great first occasion.
