With Beautiful Strings Attached
Local residents have long enjoyed an outstanding chamber music concert series close to home. The Westchester Chamber Music Society presents concerts Sunday afternoons at 4 at Congregation Emanu-El of Westchester, a beautiful venue with outstanding acoustics.
This year they celebrate their 68th anniversary. Led by resident, Dr. Caroline Bauman, president, the Society has been bringing first-rate artists to Westchester, including the Tokyo, Emerson, and Brentano string quartets.
In addition to hearing the best of classical music, audiences are invited to meet the musicians after each concert at an informal reception at which refreshments are served.
A first-rate program has been lined up for the 2018-19 season:
October 14:The Ying Quartet, program includes Beethoven and Tchaikovsky.
