Well Done!
At The Osborn Foundation’s annual “Women Who Make a Difference” luncheon last month, three women whose work exemplifies a commitment to wellness and nature conservation received the Miriam A. Foundress Award.
Over 200 guests raised a glass to Angel Morris, past president of Rye Garden Cub, the Rye Nature Center, and The Osborn Board of Managers; Dr. Catherine Isaac, a member of the Mind-Body Medicine practice at Scarsdale Medical Group; and Hilary Forman, senior vice-president of Health-PRO Heritage.
The guest speaker was Florence Williams, author of “The Nature Fix: Why Nature Makes Us Happier, Healthier, and More Creative.”
Proceeds will go to support the expansion of The Adams Library as well as The Charity Care Program, which provides residency and care for love who could not otherwise afford to live at The Osborn.
