Wow Takes a Bow
By Kicki Storm
This is former model Kicki Storm’s first column for the paper. She added a super-local spin by inviting members of the community to model for the shoot.
This time of year fashion takes on a special sparkle. WOW abounds in shop windows, with pieces for both men and women to make your soiree shine. When it comes to style, I’m a risk taker and I encourage you to take a leap.
Have fun mixing trendy and traditional.
When it’s party time, rise to the occasion.
Stand out from the crowd, guys, by wearing red socks and a matching bow tie with your tux. A blue tuxedo looks even snappier if you swap the dress shirt for something more casual.
Throw a cheetah jacket over dressy black pants, and you’re ready for a wild night.
A tailored tartan blazer over a crisp white ruffle blouse is a classic. Press reset and wear over velvet leggings.
Speaking of velvet, women can always find room in their closets for more.
