WUNDERBAR!
Many came in Bavarian dress — dirndl or lederhosen, topped with alpine hat — but most came as they are to the Friends of Rye Nature Center’s <prost>-worthy Oktoberfest celebration.
Gathered in a tent under a star-filled sky, and warmed by spirits, brews, German-worthy pretzels, and great company and music, guests raised their steins to the Nature Center on its 60th anniversary.
With the Center as our compass, generations have gained appreciation, understanding, insight, and awe of the natural world.
