The wheels of justice finally managed to turn a little in court October 2, when former Rye Golf Club manager Scott Yandrasevich and his attorney, Kerry Lawrence, stood before criminal court Supervising Judge Richard Molea in White Plains.
First, Assistant District Attorney Steven Ronco told Molea that the people were ready to try the defendant on an 11-count indictment, including Class C Felony charges for allegedly stealing $342,000 from RGC. If convicted of the charges, the defendant faces a possible sentence of up to 15 years in state prison.
Lawrence then told the judge that he and the defendant were ready to go to trial, and after a brief sidebar discussion Molea set a date of November 5.
