A Yonkers man allegedly choked his girlfriend on Thursday in an apparent domestic violence incident at her Chestnut Street home before being tracked down at the Rye train station, according to authorities.
Rye police responded to a call for a reported domestic dispute at around 1:20 p.m. on July 3. When police arrived on scene the suspect had already fled. But the unidentified female victim told cops that she had been assaulted, including being choked by her boyfriend, Isaiah Greene, who then took off for the Rye train station.
Police found the 24-year-old Greene, of Yonkers, at the train station just minutes later and placed him under arrest. He was transported to police headquarters on McCullough Place and arraigned in Rye City Court.
The victim was issued an order of protection by the judge during Greene’s arraignment.
In 2023, Greene was arrested three times in separate domestic violence incidents involving the same unidentified female victim, police told The Record.

Greene was charged on Thursday with criminal obstruction of breathing and criminal contempt, both misdemeanors, and harassment, a violation.
He is being held on $500 cash bail at the Westchester County Correctional Facility in Valhalla.
Greene is due back in court on Tuesday.
