The outstanding Rye High students scored among the top in the 2022 PSAT — Semifinalists in the top 1 percent, Commended in the top 2½ percent.
The two Semifinalists are Patrick (Paddy) Harrigan and Dan Yamaguchi. The 11 Commended Students are Amelia Brooks, Juliette Hamlen, Jiawen Hao, Niklas Hofmann, Kathryn (Kiki) Keith, Polina Komarova, Bryan Laverty, Lara Oktay, Samantha Ryan, Rebecca Speas, and Spencer Swiader.
Schools Superintendent Dr. Eric Byrne expressed heartfelt congratulations to the students. “Their success is reflective of a great deal of hard work and dedication on their part as well as by their parents, teachers, and the school district community at large. Congratulations also to Principal Suzanne Short, who will be the first to tell you that this year’s senior class is an exceptionally talented one.”
