Hundreds of eager children and their parents turned out for the Rye Recreation Department’s annual Easter egg hunt on March 30.
The event – the Carole D Kirby Memorial Easter Egg Hunt — was sponsored by the Ladies Auxiliary and Rye Fire Department.
The Easter bunny had a great time too, hopping around the park and posing for photos with the kids.
Egg hunters who found a token in their hunting ground received a special gift basket.
