Black Lives Matter Rally @ Playland

Rallying for Critically Needed Change

While nearly all the protestors at last week’s Black Lives Matter rally at Playland were white, several black representatives from the movement were there to film the event, notably the 8 minutes and 46 seconds during which every participant kneeled down. No one present was unaware that the last 8 minutes and 46 seconds of George Floyd’s tragically shortened life were spent gasping for air, pleading for help as a Minneapolis police officer held him down with a knee on his neck.
