Layers of Kindness

The Children’s Collective 29th Annual Coat Drive was a huge success thanks to the dedicated sorters, drivers, and supporters who got the word out. Over 1,200 warm winter coats were donated, sorted, and delivered.

Louise Sullivan, who started the Collective nearly 30 years ago, gave a shout out to the Rye UPS Store for being a dropoff site yet again, and to Christ’s Church for generously serving as the sorting location.

“All of the beautiful coats were greatly appreciated by Concourse HousePOTS, Montefiore Hospital, and St. Ann’s Church in the Bronx, P.S. 188 in Queens, and Holy Rosary in Port Chester,” noted Sullivan.
