Eastchester Man Accused of Binging on Rye Bakery Dough

A former manager at The Snackery Bakeshop in Rye has been arrested after allegedly stealing over $100,000 from the store last year. Paul Dipietro, 36-years-old, of Eastchester, was charged with Grand Larceny in the 2nd Degree, a Class C felony.

The arrest was the result of an 11-month investigation involving Rye Detectives and the Westchester County District Attorney’s Office. Dipietro turned himself in on July 18 at RPD Headquarters, where he was processed and released on his own recognizance. He is due back in Rye City Court on August 1.
