Beth and David Conley of Rye, N.Y. and Nancy MacColl of Lauderhill, Florida, and Greg MacColl of Richmond Hill, N.Y. are pleased to announce the engagement of their children, Christy Conley and Ian MacColl.

The future bride studied Environmental Studies with a concentration in Biology at Denison University in Granville, Ohio.

The future groom attended Northeastern University in Massachusetts, where he studied Environmental Geology.

The couple met at the College of Environmental Science and Forestry in Syracuse, N.Y. from which Ms. Conley received a Master of Landscape Architecture and Mr. MacColl a Master of Environmental Science.

They currently reside, with their cat Puma, in Rochester, N.Y., where Ms. Conley is a landscape architect with Environmental Design and Research and Mr. MacColl works for the Department of Environmental Conservation.

An August wedding is planned.
