 Feathering the Holiday Nest

So, there are no holiday parties in your datebook and you’re homebound for the foreseeable future, but that doesn’t mean you can’t party at home.

At Nest Inspired Home, they have all the “supplies” you need for fun, starting with fancy Connect 4, backgammon, poker, and TheIslandnow Slots. Their oversized Tic-Tac-Toe boards are perfect for both very young and senior players.

Two of their fabulous faux fur throws sold the day we stopped by. They come in ivory, mink, pink, black, and our favorite shade of navy.

You can’t throw a family party in a pandemic without a big serving board for charcuterie and cheese. Their cluster serving bowls are great-looking, come in a variety of metals, and are perfect for everything from nuts to small desserts.

Bar carts are “meaningful” right now, joked Nest design associate Ellen Tuttle. The shop stocks not only carts but vintage glassware and bar accessories as well. Their old-fashioned glasses with zodiac symbols will give rise to “What’s your sign” conversations.

Nest stocks everything a homebody needs right now, including desks and desk chairs. A customer came in on a recent Wednesday and bought a sofa and ottoman, which Nest delivered the following Monday.

Even Santa doesn’t work that fast.
