It’s About Trust

It’s About Trust

Rye has a proud tradition of supporting its schools, and I have no doubt we will do so again if presented with a better bond proposal, one which: a) tells us in clear, standard format how much the bond will add to our annual taxes, and b) what exactly the money will be spent on, backed up by budgets.

Spending public money is a sacred trust, especially now that so little of our local taxes are deductible, and we need to know our public officials understand this, and that the funds will be invested wisely.
